Episodes Notes

It may have been cold, but that did not stop a team of 40 hockey players from participating in the 2021 World's Longest Game in Strathcona County, Alberta.

Not only did they break a record for the length of the game, 252 hours, but they also did it in the extreme cold.

The goal of the event is to raise funds for cancer research. This year they hoped to raise $1.5 million, which they have exceeded.

Andrew Buchanan was one of the goalies. He shares with us why he decided to participate and what it was like to play in the extreme cold.
