Episodes Notes

It's been 10 years since Naomi Fehr lost her son, Josh, to cancer.

Fehr is now the board chair of Candlelighters, a childhood cancer support group.

Last week an outbreak was declared in the children's cancer ward at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. The group decided something needed to be done.

It started with pizza and turned into tens of thousands of dollars worth of donations.

Today on Connections, Naomi shares her story, how important it is to have support groups like, Candlelighters and how people have stepped up to help those in a time of need.
