Episodes Notes

Alexandra Boylan, an award-winning filmmaker, was born and raised in  Georgetown, Massachusetts, where she first began her exploration into acting.

When she was 19-years old, Alexandra moved from Boston to Los Angeles all alone. After a year, she became homeless and lived out of her car for a year while pursuing acting.

From 1999-2009 she struggled to pursue a career as an actress while working in nightclubs.

After ten years of tough times, she surrendered her life to Jesus and moved to New Mexico believing her career was over. After she felt the Lord calling her to make faith films, she lived on the road for a year and put all her finances into making the film “Catching Faith.”  She learned to not hesitate when you are called by God and that God always provides.

Today on Connections, Alexandra shares her amazing journey into the film industry and how her faith helped her along the way. She also chats a bit about her latest project, SWITCHED.
