Episodes Notes

A train travelling along the Kettle Valley line in the dead of night in late October 1924. Near Farron, a day coach on the train exploded.

The sound echoes through the region. At first, it is reported two are dead. Then three. Then four.

Immediately, accusations started to fly around about how such an explosion was possible, and who was responsible. The federal government suspected it was people within the Doukhobor community, while the Doukhobors suspected it was the Canadian government.

So, who was the person responsible for the death of Peter Verigin, the spiritual leader of the Community Doukhobors? Why would someone want him killed?
